I ran across this word, disambiguation, a few days ago while searching for information on google. What exactly does this word mean anyway? I dug deeper and got the following definition: “Noun to establish a single semantic or grammatical interpretation for a word”. My word crazy, and very smart father gave me a concise definition: “To give clarity” is what he told me. Okay then, I now have a new word to add to my vocabulary.
My Dad has often given me clarity throughout my life, sometimes it was a bit painful, but ultimately his sage advice has always been a benefit to me.
Thanks, Dad, for your ever present help and clarity. Below is a recent picture of my dad, Thorwald Esbensen, he is now 85 years old.
