What are you going to do this weekend? I’m going to read the Police Department’s 2007 Annual Report; plan for my new intern to start on Monday; and (no foolin’) review our new Draft Goose Management Plan.
But the most important thing that I’m going to do this weekend is to attend the high school graduation ceremony for my youngest son, Ethan. That’s him with his Mom in a photo I snapped of them in Washington DC earlier this spring.
I’m very proud of Ethan. He is a great kid! He will be leaving sometime in August for a year abroad in Bolivia as a Rotary Club exchange student. He has good Spanish language skills; is a pretty good soccer player; and loves adventure. He’s going to have a great year. We’ll miss him, but it’ll be a year he never forgets.
Good Luck Ethan!
Your Mom and I love you very much.
