The Minnesota Tekne Awards honor people and companies who positively impact the technology sector of Minnesota’s economy. This year’s awards banquet is October 30 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
There are eleven categories on Teckne Awards with a total of 45 nominees. As always, Eden Prairie is well represented on this year’s list of Tekne Award nominees. Of the 45 total nominees, ten of them are Eden Prairie companies or people, and this doesn’t even count Rick King, who is an Eden Prairie resident, but works at Thomson Reuters in Eagan, and Emerson Rosemount, who is listed as operating in Rosemount, but have major operations here in Eden Prairie. Minneapolis-connected companies and people lead the list of nominees with twelve nominations. St. Paul has seven.
