While we’re going to enjoy a beautiful spring day today in Minnesota, Mayor Phil Young and his wife Mona will be running the Boston Marathon in the aforementioned weather. In addition to the expected physical and mental challenges faced by marathoners, they will also be combating flooded streets and hypothermia today. So, whatever you’ve got to do outside today, whether it’s work or play, I hope you’ll pause a moment and remember the Mayor and his wife slogging through the cold flooded streets of Boston. Here’s hoping for a safe race for them and a safe return to Minnesota tomorrow.
