The City of Eden Prairie, Minnesota Community Technology Task Force was created in May 2007 to advise city officials on telecommunication and technology issues. Over the next six months, task force members will review the city’s current telecommunications infrastructure and services, hold discussions with telecom providers about their future deployment plans, gather input from the business community and residents about their technology use and expectations, and develop a technology vision and recommendations for the Eden Prairie City Council.
The task force has representatives from large and small business, education, government and residents. Many of the members both work and live in Eden Prairie, including some home-based businesses. Task force members bring a rich variety of perspectives, including a superior level of technological expertise, that will ensure positive results.
